Yoon Suk-Yeol President approval rating rises by 2.5%p…40 percent for the third week.

A poll showed on the 6th that President Yoon Suk-Yeol support for state affairs rose slightly, reaching the 40% range for the third consecutive week.

According to a five-day survey of 2,06 voters aged 18 or older nationwide from the 27th to the 3rd of this month by Realmeter, the positive assessment of President Yoon Suk-Yeol performance in state affairs was 42.9%, up 2.5 percentage points from last week.

The negative assessment was 53.2%, down 3.8 percentage points from the last survey.

Bae Chul-ho, a senior expert at Realmeter, said, “It seems to have settled in the 40% range by continuing the economic and people’s livelihoods rally,” adding, “If the national convention is completed next week, relations between the presidential office and the ruling party will be normalized.”

Positive evaluations rose from Seoul (5.4%p↑), Daegu and Gyeongbuk (5.0%p↑), Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam (4.4%p↑), and by age group, people in their 20s (7.8%p↑), 60s (3.9%p↑), and 40s (3.8%p↑).

By political orientation, the independent (5.4%p↑), the middle (4.7%p↑), the progressive (3.9%p↑), and the conservative (2.1%p↑) showed an upward trend.

The negative evaluation was found to have risen among the Justice Party supporters (1.5%p↑).

In terms of party support, the public’s power rose 2.1 percentage points from the previous week to 44.3 percent, and the Democratic Party of Korea fell 3.2 percentage points to 40.7 percent. Although it is within the margin of error, the power of the people and the approval rating of the Democratic Party of Korea have been reversed.

The Justice Party rose 0.1%p to 2.8%, and the proportion of the non-party group rose 0.6%p to 10.0%.

The sample error of this survey is ±2.2%p at a 95% confidence level. The survey was conducted using 97% wireless and 3% wired, and the response rate was 3.1%.
