Chevrolet unveils high-performance electric SUV Blazer EV…The mileage is 514 kilometers
GM of the U.S. unveiled major parameters of electric vehicle blazer EVs that emphasize high performance and mileage on the 18th.
Blazer EV is the first electric vehicle with a high-performance SS trim in Chevrolet brand.
The Blazer EVSS trim can boost the vehicle’s output to 557 horsepower (HP) by utilizing the Wide Open Watts (WOW) mode and can be reached within 4 seconds from 0 to 60 miles per hour (about 96 km/h).
The blazer EVSS trim can travel up to 290 miles (about 466 kilometers) based on GM’s own measurement. In the case of the lower class trim RS, it can travel up to 320 miles (514 km). The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) official mileage has not yet been released.
The Chevrolet Blazer EV, which is applied with GM’s electric vehicle-only platform, “ultium,” has not yet come up with battery capacity specifications. Trim is divided into 1LT, 2LT, RS, and SS trims based on North America and supports various driving methods such as front wheel drive (FWD), rear wheel drive (RWD), and four wheel drive (4WD). Wheel sizes vary from 19 inches to 22 inches, with the SS trim fitted with a Brembosa brake.
Inside, 11.1-inch digital clusters and 17.7-inch center fascia displays are coming in. The center fascia display is tilted toward the driver for ease of operation.
Blazer EVs also have driving assistance (ADAS) devices such as super cruise and reverse emergency braking based on North American standards. GM Super Cruise, which supports automatic lane changes, is currently only available in the U.S. and Canada.
GM will sell Blazer EV 2LT and RS trim next summer and SS trim at the end of next year. 1LT and others will be sold in the first quarter of 2024. Production takes place in Mexico.
There is no fixed schedule for the release of Blazer EVs in Korea yet. GM Korea is planning to release 10 models of electric vehicles in the domestic market by 2025, in line with GM’s future strategy for electrification. 코인파워볼
